Miriam Steinberg | 1975 | Dutch | Design Academy | Rietveld Academy

She started her career in 1998, and for allmost 25 years she has worked as a freelance graphic designer on different types of projects and for a variation of clients.

With a view on the horizon, her path runs between realism and surrealism. Landscapes are an inexhaustible source of inspiration. She uses what nature shows her and creates extra depth in what already exists. Like a visual dance of the environment with a graphic interpretation. Effortless. As if it was meant to be.

Miriam experiments freely with various cameras, materials and printing techniques. Form and structure reveal her past as a graphic designer. Her work arouses curiosity and contains disruptive elements. But it also creates the type of peace and space in which one wants to retreat with complete surrender.
